The replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat in the attitude of meditation, a holy pagoda and chapel imitating the Chittagong design found in Hongsawatoi Kingdom and a vihara of Kudakhan can be seen inside the temple. The newly renovated chapel or ubosot, adorned with the elegant design of gable apex, ridge and swan-like edge of the gable, was built under the influence of the Rattanakosin era. Inside the chapel, the holy statue of Luang Pu Thao and the murals depicting the story of Lord Buddha will fascinate Buddhists and other visitors.

Wat Hong Pathummawas has been awarded for its successful conservation of fish biodiversity in its animal sanctuary area. In front of the temple, several species of fish in the Chao Phraya River will frequently appear to gobble up their food.
